Low Profile Switchable Intensity Strobe. This low profile, heavy duty strobe operates from 12-24 VDC to produce between 8 and 17 joules. User can field select high or low intensity and double (8 or 13 joules) or quad (12 or 17 joules) flash. Allows mounting where high light intensity output is a requirement and overhead clearance is a concern. The base is die cast for durability from vibration/heat and seven support points provide a shock-resistant mounting of the power supply. With a powerful 90 lbs pull magnet and 15' cord for temporary mounting, this strobe stores easily when not in use. The polycarbonate fresnel lens is thread-on. Field flash tube replacement is trouble free with a snap out connector. It features a conformal coated circuit board to further prevent corrosion. This strobe is also protected from reverse polarity and voltage transients. It is AMECA certified to SAE J1318, conforms to CE requirements and is manufactured in the U.S.A. by ECCO--certified ISO-9001.
